The quantities that matter
Total draw is known, per-rack draw is not. So headroom gets estimated, and you find out it ran out when a cabinet trips.
Draw per rack
Per PDU and per rack, the level at which headroom becomes a number rather than a guess.
UPS
Load and actual runtime, not the nameplate figure computed on new batteries.
Cooling
The consumption of the cooling plant, which is the missing numerator of PUE.
Aisles
Temperature and humidity in the hot and cold aisles, where airflow either works or does not.
Site draw
The site total, the other half of the ratio.
